I strolled around the garden before sitting under a tree to take a rest.

The days aren’t meant for caging oneself in the room, right?

The air blew towards my direction causing me to shiver.

The way the green grasses bent in response to the wind was so fantastic that it caught my attention to it.

The butterflies flew around, especially the ones with the different colors.

Talking of the birds, my ears were attentive to those melodic songs even though I don’t know what they were singing.

Everywhere, everything about this fortress was so glorious and unique.

I’m pretty sure the outside has nothing compared to this place.

On the other side, I heard Lucas was back. His arrival was late at the middle of the night.

I didn’t want to think about him now or what he might be doing. Although, I know it was difficult for me to let it off, but I have to.

I don’t know if I was the only one feeling this way towards him, or is he having this same feelings for me?

I want to believe that I’m only waisting my time thinking about someone who isn’t thinking about me.

‘ Don’t judge things like that, Lora… ’

The words snapped the thoughts out of my head leaving me to be pulled by sleep.

I dozed off, finding myself in a world filled with imaginations…

At first, I was in a place that looks like paradise. If not mistaken, I guess it’s Heaven itself.

Not until something else came, changing this Heaven to hell. Everywhere became dark, smokes clouding the atmosphere letting me wonder where on Earth was I.

I didn’t want to keep watching, I didn’t want to stay anymore. I… I… Can’t…

Someone please get me out of my mind!

I woke up gasping for air like I was going be slaughtered at the moment.

“ No, no.. no.. ” I breathed, sighing in relief. ” It’s only a dream, Lora. It’s just a dream. ” I breathed again, deeply.

I forced myself not to sleep again. I know closing my eyes will only bring me back into my day dream and I don’t wanna go back.

Thinking about it was just like seeing it in reality. What kind of fucking day dream was that?!

I can’t imagine what kind of day dream was that. Seeing myself in the midst of millions of demons facing a thousand of hunters.

It isn’t a war, is it? We’re they here all because of me?

No. No, it can’t be…

It can’t…

As the war began, I was standing right at the middle of this hungry creatures but none noticed my presence.

I looked around in search of the vice commander, I couldn’t find him.

Bloods splitting like shower, lives taken like they were nothing, bodies fell like torn rags.

Indeed… It was a war.

I can’t predict but all I can tell is that no one survived the war. Not even Lucas did because it really didn’t end well.

I forced a deep air into my nostrils exhaling out heavily as if that was the only way to clear the crazy thoughts off my mind.

“ Lora? ” Elena’s voice came from behind.

I turned to see the confused face staring at me. She haven’t been calling me, have she?

“ I’ve been calling your name for the past two minutes. What were you thinking? ” she asked concerned.

Of course, she has been calling me…

“ Nothing. ” I lied, “ I just woke up from a brief sleep. I’m sorry, still getting myself together. ” I apologized trying to make her see it that way.

“ It’s okay. I understand now. No one leave the garden without complimenting about it. ” She smiled saying that.

She is right…

But if only she knows what I had seen, she wouldn’t have thought of it been just a nap.
