it’s been over three weeks since the kidnap incidence yet Brian doesn’t wanna let me off his sight, he’s behaving more like a bodyguard than of a boyfriend

“so when are you gonna be visiting again?” I asked Janet as she picked up her purse which had been laying on the couch since she came in

“that question us suppose to be directed at you, when are you paying me visiting again, it’s been long you know” she said stopping by the door

“yeah!
really would have come visiting but you know what’s restricting my movement” I said and she gave me an eye roll
“and what’s that?”she asked fondling with her hair

“the threat of course!
don’t tell me you’ve forgotten ?” I asked and she smiled

“it just nudge at me, what’s golden boy Brain doing about it?”she asked and I let out a deep sigh
“he’s working on it” I replied

“can’t believe my baby is gonna be staying home all day, if only I could lay my hands on that bitch, I pull off her hair and send countless kicks straight into her butts ” she hollered and I cracked

besides you being a cop isn’t a bad idea” I said and she frowned

“hell no!!
who’s gonna be moving about in black boots and gun?
I won’t mind being a cabby than being a hungry looking cop” she said

“and who told you they look hungry huh?
the government gives them good pay for their services” I said and she frowned again

“I see no reason why your telling me this, you can go join them if you want to”she said and I chuckled

“c-mon babe just wait some minutes more,brain will soon gonna be here”I coax getting a hold of her hands

“bye girlfriend my momma must be waiting and if I sit my ass down here, she’s gonna lock me outside
she actually gave me a curfew” she said and I smiled

“grandma actually did that to me when we were much younger” I said and she laughed

“okay then,see you when next I visit and extend my greetings to molly when next she calls” Janet
said and walked out while I nodded banging the door slowly

I turned back moving to the sitting room
brains suppose to be here, what’s keeping him?

I walked into the lift and walked out of it when it stopped but I bumped into someone

“Granny”I called on seeing granny and her personal maid behind her, she looks dressed like she’s going out or something

“since when did start calling me that?” she asked furrowing her brows at me

“am sorry grandma, I guess am a little it excited” I said and she frowned

grandma doesn’t like it when molly and I call her ‘granny’
she said it sounded more like ‘nanny’
and that’s the reason why she doesn’t let any of us call her that

“I guess the excitement is all about brain” she said and I chuckled
“grandma!” I called in between laughter and just then, we heard the door bell

“seems he’s here already” grandma said walking into the lift with her maid
“am going for my check up” she said and the lift closed before I could reply.
I ran off to my room change my clothes

I walked down the stairs when I was done when I was done changing my clothes and my eyes caught sight of him sitting one of the couch looking dashing as always
gosh!
he looks so cute in the sleeve shirt he head wore, three buttons were left unbuttoned in his sleeve, making his chest slightly visible
he had a gold chain in and it gave him a playboy look

his hair was dyed blue he had a light blue trouser and shirt on,alongside the shoe he had on

geez!
he looks damn hot and I suddenly felt wet

is this the guy am dating?
like he’s really my boyfriend?

he had earrings on his two ears and different brands of rings designed his fingers while his both hands held more phones than I could count

his pink lips were wet as he kept tucking them into his mouth at intervals
what’s 53x gonna look like with this guy?
am pretty sure he’s gonna make me scream out my lungs and that,am really not ready for!

“hey!” he called and stood up on sighting me

“Brain!” I called instead,running into his arms
“did you missed me?”he asked cuddling me up into his chest

“yeah! I miss your cute face” I said and he chuckled

“am sorry I came late, there was a heavy traffic jam on my way” he said and I pulled off the hug

“apology accepted”I said pulling his arm along with him as I climbed the stairs heading towards the sitting room upstairs
we got in and I serve him a drink

“molly called this morning” I said watching him sip from is glass cup

“did she asked about me” he asked and I chuckled
“nope! she only asked after Kelvin, her best buddy” I said and he feign a frown
“seriously?
she prefer Kelvin to me” he asked making me lie on the couch with my head on his thighs

“hey!
I was only joking, she actually asked of you but she feel real sad getting to part with her best buddy” I said band he chuckled

“brain, I wanna tell you something” I said and he looked down at me where I lay on his thighs.
“can you help me in finding my late father’s murderer and my abductors? I asked and he kept silent for a while

“Brain” I called and he snap out of his thought
“yes I will if that will make you happy”he said and I smiled

“maybe you can refuse if you don’t want to, its just that I wanna know the people behind it”I said and he smiled.
“any thing that make’s you happy, is what make me happy its isn’t gonna be difficult my dad is a retired sheriff remember” he said and I smiled.

“thanks brain” I muttered and lay back on his thighs
