Chapter 64

Brenda’s POV

“I’m tired, I need to rest.” Scot said and came to me. He ruffled my hair and walked away.

huh

Why did he touch my hair like he was playing with a pet?

I stood and ran to him before he could walk inside his room. I ruffled his hair too and he grabbed my left wrist all of a sudden.

His fist was hard on me and I became scared.

“What? leave me….I only came to do my own.” I said and he pulled me closer to him instead.

I fell to his chest with mine, our faces almost colide.

I rapped his second arm around my back and I stood stiff.

“Your hug is warm.” He said and I smiled.

He couldn’t see my face.

“You are hugging a poor maid, rich kid?” I reminded him.

He pushed me away gently and said; “I almost forgot.”

As he turned from me to enter his room, I hugged him from behind.

My hands crossing his chest.

“Did you like it?” I asked as I rested my head on his back.

“A hug from a poor girl, no.” He replied.

“You are so arrogant, you know that?” I asked.

“You are the arrogant maid.” He said and tried to disentangle my hand from his chest but I was hãrd.

“What did you want?” He asked.

“Keeping you warm, rich kid.” I replied.

“I’m warm, you can now leave.” He said and I removed my hand.

I went to stay in front of him and asked; “Why do you always save me?”

“If I did not save you, who else will.” He answered roughly.

He tried to push me from the entrance so he can enter his room but I sepå—rated my l—égs and stretched my hands so he would not be able to walk in.

“I think you have a feeling for me.” I said.

“I did not.” He replied.

“Why do I feel like you are lying?” I asked.

“Your feeling is your feeling, it has nothing to do with me. Get away, I need to rest.” He said.

“Kiss me.” I said and he furrowed his brow.

“Why do you think that way, why would I kiss you? you are not my girlfriend, you will never be one.” He said.

“Really?” I asked. “Because I’m poor right?”
