A bright light shone upon my eyes and I opened it only for me to see Payton clipping the curtains.She still in her skimpy pink night gown and as she stretched to open the curtains very well her thighs showed which made me smile..

‘It’s Saturday’..I murmured and she turned around sharply..

‘Ohhh y..you’re awake??’..

‘Yeah I’m awake,what are you doing in my room??’..I replied as I stood up and yawned…

‘Well your mom sent me here to do that’..she said pointing at the curtains.I nodded and yawned again as I walked into bathroom to pee.When done i splashed a Littleneck bit of water and went back only for me to see her hands on my trophy…

‘You’re touchy’..I muttered and she flinched..

‘S..sorry I didn’t mean to..

‘It’s okay why are you so jumpy this morning??’..i asked and following the direction of her eyes i realized what she meant..

‘Ohhh’..I murmured and put my shirt on..

‘You didn’t really have to,i liked your physique anyway’..she said rolling her eyes and i smirked..

‘So…you like the bad boy’s body huh?’..I said and took my shirt off.I circled my arms around and lowered my lips to hers kissing her softly..

‘Mmmh’..she murmured and i propped her up on my waist…

‘I have to make breakfast’..

‘What??’..he asked.I clearly ignored him and bursted through the door only for me to see Serani on the bed laughing with a laptop in her hands..

‘Dude that wasn’t funny!!’..I screamed and the both of them laughed hysterically..

‘Oh my God you really fell for it!! You really thought you were going to Harvard!!’..Trevor laughed and I frowned deeply..

‘I just can’t with you guys!!!’..

Payton’s POV

I was busy washing the dishes when a hand slipped around my waist and I flinched only for me to see that it was Brody .

‘Jeez you’ve gotta stop sneaking on me like that’..I said.

‘Sorry about that I need your help’..he replied..

‘With what??’..i asked and his face widened into a wicked smile..

‘Payback’..

‘Payback?? What do you mean??’..I asked.

‘Well Serani and Trevor pulled a dirty prank on me on which I thought isn’t funny—They sent me an email which said that I’ve been accepted into Harvard to study Law,I was almost happy cause mom has been processing my admission into Harvard before the year runs out and finding out that its a prank really pissed me off so I want payback’..He explained…

‘Harvard?? You’re going to Harvard??’..I asked and his smile faded..

‘Well not until the school year is over,we’re in the final year remember and your scholarship was for one school year remember??’..he replied.

‘Yeah i know but if you go to Harvard then…

‘Then what??’..

‘Then that means we can’t be together’..

‘You don’t have to be bothered about my admission Payton,if there’s one thing i learnt then it’s to live in the moment!! Let’s think about the present and see what the future holds’..I replied trying to keep a smile on my face so as not to worry…

‘You sure??’..Payton asked…

‘Yeah I’m sure so you up for a movie??’..I replied but still she didn’t look happy..

‘There’s a new cinema downtown and I would like if we go check it out yunno!! Brody and Payton…Bropay..Movie night!!’..i cooed poking at her ribs continuously and luckily her face broadened into a beautiful smile…

‘Okay fine but after movie night we talk about your Harvard admission cause I know you pretty well and i know you’re trying to evade the whole question!!!’…She said aloud and I smiled..

‘So there’s this movie i’ve been wanting to Watch—Its called Veronica and I’ve booked two tickets for you and I’..I murmured as i opened the door only to see Payton with a towel around her chest and all wet…

‘What are?!! Jeez Brody I’m half naked!!!’…She screamed and i just smiled…

‘Ohhh well it’s not like I haven’t seen you naked before so what’s the deal’..

‘Okay fine i might have seen you naked in the shower once or twice’..i replied rolling my eyes to the other side of the room..

‘What?!! You’ve been spying on me naked?! Jeez i can’t believe this!! You’re a pervert Brody Anderson!’..She exclaimed and i chuckled low so she wouldn’t hear.She signaled me to turn around and I did biting my lower lip almost tempted to turn around..

‘I’m done now let’s talk about the movie you were talking about’..She murmured when I turned around…

‘Okay then well i was thinking we should watch a movie I’ve been hearing of,it’s titled VERONICA’..i replied tucking her hair behind her ear as we both sat on the bed…

‘Oooh Veronica?? Is it a Rom-Com??’…she asked..

‘Rom-Com?? No ewww it’s a horror movie and we’re watching it in 3D’..

‘Wait up!! A horror movie?!!’..She asked with her eyes already widened..

‘Yeah or are you scared of Horror movies,if you want we could just watch Jumanji’..i suggested with retreated look on my face and she scoffed..

‘No way! There’s no way I’m scared of horror movies what do you take me for?? A chicken??’..She asked and i arched my brows..

Judging from her first expression I’m pretty sure she’s scared of horror movies but she’s just trying to act tough..

I guess she doesn’t know what it means to watch a horror movie in 3D..

‘Are you sure??’..i asked..

‘Y..yeah what do you take me for?? I’m not scared of anything Brody Anderson,I escaped from a Cobra remember??’..She retorted and I hid my snicker.

‘Okay eightish then??’..

‘Eightish’..she replied and I left the room..

Okay Payton i think you went a little bit too far with your bragging..

Like wtf did I just do?!!..

I literally detest sci-fi movies and now I bragged about being a horror movie expert??…

I paced around the room as goosebumps filled my body and bit my nails nervously.I checked the time and it was only just 6:30pm,I continued pacing thinking of an excuse and when I could think of none I grabbed my phone.I called Serani but to my own dismay her number wasn’t reachable,i tried Trevor’s too but it was the same thing and when i realized that all was fruitless effort i groaned.I went downstairs and met Brody video chatting Cooper on Skype and when he spotted me he just winked and i smiled nervously twisting my fingers..

How do i tell him that I’m terrified to death of the movie we’re going to watch..

‘Uhmm Brody c..can..can I talk to you..can I talk to you for a moment??’..i stuttered..

‘Ohhh wait up I’m telling Cooper how excited I am on our first date!!’..He replied and i gulped hard…

I can’t tell him i don’t want to go??..

He’s so excited and I can’t ruin that for anything in the world??..

Ughh see where my big mouth has landed me!!…

‘Okay so I’m done with Cooper what is it you wanted to tell me??’..He asked..

‘It’s nothing never mind’..I replied with a sullen look on my face…

‘Sugar?? Where??’..I asked and the next thing I knew he covered his lips with mine and kissed me lusciously…

‘Mmmmh I really tasted the sugar’..i murmured and he chuckled softly…

‘Yeah so I’ll go freshen up and by 7pm you should be here’..

Brody’s POV

I smiled seeing the terrified look on Payton’s face as i went upstairs to the bathroom…

I know she’s pretty scared about the Veronica movie and I’m going to rattle her pretty much cause she bragged about not being scared of horror movies…

‘Are you ready??’..I asked Payton as I jogged happily downstairs and Payton jolted from the chair..

‘Ohhh really?? W..well..well let’s go now’..She stuttered and i smirked lightly…

I parked my bike at the parking lot specifically for bikes and chained it so it won’t be stolen.Payton shuddered a little as I ushered her inside the cinema even with the full knowledge that she was scared.We verified our tickets at the counter and in a minute we were in the theater..

‘Put on your 3D glasses’..i muttered..

‘Huh??’..She was puzzled..

‘Put on your 3D glasses’..i repeated and she wore on the glasses.The movie started in a very harsh manner and the next thing i knew Payton began screaming..

‘Keep it low!!!’..The audience yelled..

‘Shhhh Payton,are you scared??’..i whispered with a hand over her mouth…

‘No..no I’m not scared I saw a cockroach on my thigh’..she stuttered and i withdrew myself hiding the laugh in my voice…

‘Oh my God i can’t do this anymore!!! I can’t do this!!!’..She screamed again and ran out of the theater…
