-Still At Sonia’s house—

Albert’s POV

“Since you are scared to make love with your own husband cause you believed in some faboos that your mom told you, have you thought of making love outside of marriage, it might break the curse.” I said.

She was queit for a while after which she spoke; “If I get you right, you mean I should make love with someone else that is not Fred?”

“Yes.” I replied.

“And who would that be?” She asked.

“Could be anyone, I think it will break the curse your mom is talking about.” I said. I did not know if what I as uttering doesn’t make sense or vice verse but I needed Sonia by my side.

“I can’t do that. I love Fred and I keep praying that he will change his mind and come back to me.” She said.

“I’m not sure he can’t. He sounded like someone that had already made up his mind. I’m sorry.” I said.

“I thought you said you can help me?” She asked.

“Yes, I can help you but…you have to forget about Fred and move on. I actually came to help you by telling you the frank truth that Frank….is having an affairs with someone else already. Don’t wail over someone that had moved on.” I said.

She smiled and rested to the chair.

“I’m sorry but I do not see any sense in what you are saying. Maybe you should start leaving.” She said and I stood.

My plan was to walk to the door and turn back but she called before I got to the door.

“Albert, is it true that Fred already has someone else he’s keeping?” She asked.

“Why would I lie? he’s my friend. Pick up your phone and call him to confirm.” I said to Sonia.

She nodded and stood.

“But I love him.” She said with a shaky voice and cried.
The tears on her face were an honest one.

I felt like Fred and Sonia were actually made for each other.

“What if you make love with Fred and never had stroke?” I asked and she cleaned her face first before raising her head up at me.

“I will definitely have it. Can you help me tell Frank all what I told you, he might change his mind and be considerate.”

“I will.” I promised her and walked out.
